Breast Cancer in Women

In this article I will be discussing cancer of the breast, a very critical issue that affects thousands of women annually. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer over the world and is the second leading reason for death in women age range 35 to 54. The majority of breast cancer cases are intermittent, meaning there is not any family history of the disease. Only 5% to 10% of women with breast cancer have a family group history. While there is no regarded cure for breast cancer, by simply educating yourself about this disease it can help you in early recognition. The first step in early detection can be self breast exams. These types of exams should start when a woman is 18 years old to be able to learn what is normal and what is not really in the breast. Other crucial steps in early on detection will be regular doctor's exams and mammograms. A mammogram is the foremost way to detect breast cancer. A woman really should have a mammogram when she is 40 years older and then one particular every two years until she actually is 50. Once a woman becomes 50 the girl should have a mammogram once a year because the probability of getting cancer of the breast greatly increases. In females, breasts are made up of lobules, ducts, and stoma. Lobules are milk producing glands, ducts are the dairy passages that connect to the nipple, and stoma is a fatty tissue that surrounds the duct and lobules. Cancer develops when ever cells turn into abnormal and start growing uncontrollable, forming a tumor. A tumor can be benign which means it can damage tissue although doesn't propagate to other parts of the human body. On the other hand, cancerous tumors propagate to other parts of the body system damaging and destroying healthful tissue. There are many different types of cancer. Ductal carcinoma in situ gets the lowest fatality rate. That starts in the milk system and is cared for before spreading to different breast tissue. This type of cancer is almost always treatable.
