Primary Command Development Program (PLDP), which will replaces the PO1 [petty officer 1st class] LTC. Those will be Sailors, E-5 or E-6, to be given leadership tasks and tasks for the planning and setup of divisional functions, to incorporate the professional and personal growth of personnel within just that split (e. g., positions just like leading small officer, team leader, assistant platoon leader, etc). Once again, previous completing the PO1 LTC satisfies leadership creation requirements pertaining to PLDP position assignments.
The Advanced Leadership Expansion Program (ALDP) replaces the CPO LTC. Attendees will be defined as: those Sailors, E-6 or E-7, to be assigned leadership functions and obligations in the operations, supervision and training of divisional or departmental staff, to include the professional and personal growth of employees within that division and department (e. g., positions such as office leading key petty police officer, operations primary, flight deck supervisor, platoon commander, etc). Previous completion of the CPO LTC satisfies leadership creation requirements to get ALDP location assignments.
This course presents a comprehensive, integrative, and practical concentrate on leadership and management. It is based upon a framework that analyzes command and management at distinct levels: individual leadership, staff leadership, and organizational command.
